Como no puedo dedicarle mucho tiempo a la costura este año, estoy estableciendo una lista de prioridades que incluyen proyectos rápidos.
I cannot sew a lot lately, so I'm organizing my priorities and time-consuming projects are out of the list (for now...)
Coco" de Tilly and the buttons. Tiene un estilo que me gusta y que le va a mi figura. Además su blog está lleno de indicaciones paso a paso que hacen de su costura una delicia
I've been wanting to try sewing knit fabrics for a long time. I found the perfect pattern in "Coco" by Tilly and the buttons. It's a quite flattering pattern and her blog is full of step by step instructions that make sewing this pattern easy.
I bought an inexpensive "punt de rome" because I was afraid of not doing it right. I cut the pattern and sew all the pieces, I even tried the double needle (a complete success, easy as pie, I must say)
I am satisfied with the result and am now in the search for some knit fabrics to do some more Cocos. I bought the digital pattern and glueing the parts of the pattern together was quite tedious, now that I have it, it will all go smoothly
What do you think? Do you sew for yourselves (selfish sewing ;)? Have you tried knit fabrics? Any recommendations?
