Last week I found it impossible to write a post, so I think today, you deserve a nice one
I wanted to share with you two tricks. First one these pins completed with letters that are very useful to mark your blocks, your rows...
I found what I needed at a thrift store, so a cheap and easy DIY that will help you with your patchwork. I used to write number on post-its, or loose papers. Now I have professional markers!
Another trick are these self-threading needles. They are super useful to bury your knots when quilting
They have a kind of funnel so you don't have to thread them, you just push the thread into it
It doesn't matter how short the thread is. It's a very useful tool
Finally I wanted to show you Carmen's version of the false leather cushion I showed you here
I love her result, the choice of fabrics, the white pleather...
She made a pillow instead of a cushion and I'm in love with it; but she wouldn't give it away...;)
She used a shiny thread to quilt it that looks like silver
